Ballroom Dance

The perfect way to sample six Ballroom Dances in a short amount of time. We introduce Waltz, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Fox Trot and Swing; each class will focus on one dance. Learn beginner’s steps, fundamentals of lead and follow skills, dance etiquette and music selection. Class is held at C.I. Beaver Hall.

Swing I and II

Swing I focuses on beginner’s East Coast Swing and introduces strong lead and follow techniques that are useful in any dance style. For students who have never danced before, or want to brush up on the basics. This is a 3–week session, with Swing II following the next three weeks (take all 6 weeks for a complete block of Swing – and a slightly discounted price.)

Swing II is 3-week class, and a continuation of Swing 1, with a bonus introduction to the 8-count Lindy Hop. This is a great class for dancers who want to grasp the concepts of Lindy Hop and/or improve their lead and follow skills.

Swing III

Swing III focuses on advanced swing-dancing techniques and may include East Coast (single and triple), Lindy Hope or Charleston. Each session of Swing III is customized to the students enrolled in the class, their dance abilities, and requests. Swing III is for students who have completed Swing I and II or are experienced swing-dancers.

Social Dances

February 24th Join us for a short beginners lesson at 8pm, and Dj’d Swing music throughout the evening for a night of great dancing. $5 per person includes short lesson, snacks and plenty of parking. Located at C.I. Beaver Hall, Beavercreek All ages welcome!

March 23rd This evening features a LIVE Band! Join us for a short beginners lesson at 8pm, and LIVE Swing music throughout the evening for a night of great dancing. $10 per person includes short lesson, snacks and plenty of parking. Located at C.I. Beaver Hall, Beavercreek All ages welcome!

April & May we will not have social dances. Please consider attending the Warbirds Dance at Coney Island Cincinnati over Memorial Day weekend.

June 29th Monthly Dance in conjunction with the City of Beavercreek Parks & Recreation. This is a FREE outdoor dance at Dominick Lofino Park Featuring LIVE music by the Vu-Do Swing Band
