LESSONS
Introduction to Ballroom Dancing February 17th (Six-week class) Join us every Wednesday at C.I. Beaver Hall to learn the basics of Swing, Tango, Waltz, Cha-Cha, Fox Trot and Rumba. Each class focuses on one dance and in six weeks you will have a well-rounded concept of these six core Ballroom dances. View prices and registration information here.
Swing One (Beginners Swing) February 18th (Three-week class) This class is tailored to students who have never partner danced before. Learn the East Coast Swing basics, lead and follow skills, etiquette, and a few beginners moves to keep you on the dance floor through an entire song. View prices and registration information here.
Swing Two (Continuation of Beginner’s Swing) March 11th (Three-week class) Use the skills from Swing One and build confidence on the dance floor with additional moves and footwork. Learn about varying styles of swing music and get an introduction to the concept of Lindy Hop. View prices and registration information here.
Register for both Swing One and Swing Two (Six continuous weeks) for a discounted rate.
Swing Three (Intermediate/Advanced Swing February 18th (Six-week class) Swing One and Swing Two are a prerequisite for this class. Dive into more advanced steps! This session’s material is based on the registered student’s abilities and is tailored to the group’s input. Take Swing Three again and again and learn a wide variety of styles and forms of Swing including Lindy Hop and Charleston. View prices and registration information here.

April 25, 2026 NEW SPECIAL EVENT! This month we move to the Lofino’s Plaza for a bigger event featuring young jazz musicians! Come and support the next generation of performers. Doors open at 8pm. June 27, 2026 LIVE MUSIC NIGHT! CONCERT IN THE PARK! FREE! Vu-Do Swing and the City of Beavercreek Parks and Recreation join forces for this outdoor Swing Dance! Join us at Tobias Zimmer Barn Address is at Wartinger Park 3080 Kemp Road, Beavercreek. We’ll teach a beginner’s dance class at 7pm (note the different time!) The Band will play three sets of your favorite swing tunes and DJ’d dance music will be played at the breaks. Bring a chair or blanket and your favorite snacks. All ages welcomed.
